The Rapid City Retreads met on Friday, February 19, 2010 at the VFW in downtown RC at 6:00 p.m.
Members present: Gary, Kris and Brad, Jerry and Judy, Noel and Ruth, Avis, Rick and Dave and Patti, Karin and Pete, Jim and Grace. We had two guests who came with Rick. Welcome Jerry and Julia.
Rick opened the meeting with the approval of the January minutes and the treasurers report.
Rick had correspondence with Warren Rose from ND. The two shared ideas about how to grow our clubs. INVITE FRIENDS
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: BH Area Bikers Because of safety concerns, there will not be an Awareness Ride this year. Please try to ride in the Northern Hills Awareness Ride on Friday May 21 for a BBQ and Sat. May 22 for the 150 mile ride.
Ideas were tossed around of what to do this summer for rides. Several suggestions were given and Noel and Rick will set up the rides. Rick is going to Cody, WY June 1 and this would be a good ride to for us to visit him.
The next meeting will be announced by email notices. It will be on Friday, March 19, 2010. Not sure just where we will meet yet. STAY TUNED
