Pete M. led a ride to South Dakota Air & Space Museum at Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB)  The day was cool and rainy, but those that went had a great time.  (In all, about 24 bikes made the trek)

SPUR OF THE MOMENT SURPRISE RIDE TO A JUNK YARD, AFTER THE EAFB MUSEUM RIDE

After touring the museum at EAFB I decided to take anyone who wanted to one more museum, at an autosalvageyard (junk yard) most elected to go find something to eat, and others decided to ride back to Spearfish. The following pictures were taken at this private (JUNKYARD) museum.

two brothers run this enterprising auto salvage yard and collect these antiques.  In addition to tractors cars motorcycles and numerous other collectables you'll see some chrome art welded by one ot the brothers.

Pete M. tour guide and webmaster for the South Dakota Retreads ® gives scale to this mammoth work of art.  Note the Indian motorcycle made out of chrome parts!  Photo taken by unknown member of the group with Pete's camera.

This piece was inspired by an early Caddilac hood orniment.

note the pedal cars and wagons behind the Delorian.  I rember wanting one of these as a kid growing up

Every motorized vehicle Including the 1917 Stearman Bi-plane in this museum runs!!!!
